Pete Alonso frustrated by his ‘unacceptable’ slow Orioles start after Mets exit

Pete Alonso isn’t happy with the start of his tenure in Baltimore. 

After another quiet night at the plate, Alonso made clear he expects far better from himself.  

“This is not my standard,” Alonso said after going 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts in Baltimore’s 6-4 loss to the Giants at Camden Yards on Friday, per MLB.com.
