The burglary of late NASCAR driver Greg Biffle’s North Carolina home is being treated as a possible inside job — after a series of events that began just hours after he and his family died in a plane crash.
Biffle, 55, was killed alongside his wife Cristina and their two children, Emma, 14, and Ryder, 5, when their private jet went down near Statesville Regional Airport, NC, on Dec. 18.
New search warrants obtained by local station WBTV allege the robbery may have been an inside job and link a woman known to the family to both the break-in and earlier suspicious activity, marking a significant development in the investigation.
