Solo Ball will miss all of the 2026-27 season on a medical redshirt after UConn announced that he will have to undergo surgery on his wrist.
Ball will be back for his senior season in 2027-28.
The news is a blow for UConn, less than a month removed from its national championship game loss to Michigan.
