A new study reveals that for the first time in history, regular cannabis use among US citizens is more commonplace than drinking alcohol.
Based upon decades of data, and conducted by researchers at Carnegie Mellon, the study found that more than one-third of people who used cannabis in the past month reported using it daily or near-daily. In comparison, the proportion of people who reported drinking daily or near-daily remained steady at around 10 percent.
