The Mets took another loss on Saturday before they even took the field against the Cubs.
Infielder Jorge Polanco was placed on the 10-day injured list — retroactive to April 15 — with a right wrist contusion. Catcher Hayden Senger has been called up in a corresponding move.
Polanco has been dealing with Achilles bursitis for the last three weeks, but has missed the last two games because of the wrist issue.
