The largest rural lifestyle retailer in the US is about to get a little more urban.
Tractor Supply has just announced up to 90 new locations are coming to the US next year. After closing 75 Petsense locations — a pet store within the company’s portfolio — the 85-year-old supplier said in its latest earnings call it’s the right time to expand.
“We continue to see attractive economics from new stores. That has not changed. As discussed last quarter, we expect to moderate new store openings in 2027 to approximately 85 to 90 stores,” said Kurt Barton, CFO of Tractor Supply Company.
