After months of testing, we’ve included the Durobo Krono, an open Android e-reader that allows you to access your Kindle, Libby, and Kobo libraries on one device. The Xetink X4 e-reader is a unique, compact device that doesn’t look like much, but is pretty impressive.
It’s been a busy few months of e-reader news. As of May 20, Amazon ceased support for e-readers released in 2012 or earlier, which includes the first generation of Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite. For Kindle users now in the market for a new e-reader, some are considering a switch to Kobo.
For those on the fence, Kobo just made it a little more enticing. Its integration with Storygraph is live, syncing your on-device reading progress with the Storygraph app. Xteink just dropped its latest e-reader the Xteink X4 Pro, a more advanced version of the X4, which we still prefer. Boox is joining in on the pocket-sized e-reader as it teased its Picco, a 3.97-inch e-ink tablet.
