San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch gave an update on head coach Kyle Shanahan’s condition Saturday morning after news broke that he suffered major injuries in a car crash earlier this month.
Lynch said in a press conference that Shanahan is suffering “lingering effects” from the severe concussion he endured and is being “basically” treated like he’s in a NFL concussion protocol. The executive noted Shanahan will be out on the field for training camp “to what he can tolerate.”
