The revolving door of right wings on the Rangers’ top line continued to spin Thursday night at Madison Square Garden, with Filip Chytil drawing back into the lineup and re-assuming the post for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Panthers — at least to start.
Chytil slotted next to Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad, with whom the Czech forward skated for Games 2 and 3 before the Rangers pulled him from the lineup for Game 4 in the name of load management.
That’s not how it stayed for all of their 3-2 loss, however, as head coach Peter Laviolette continues to plug different skaters in to try and help get his top-line duo going at five-on-five.
