Two low pressure areas (LPAs) are being monitored within and outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), one of which will bring thunderstorms across large parts of Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday.
The LPA within PAR was last located in the vicinity of Baao, Camarines Sur, PAGASA said in its 10:00 a.m. tropical cyclone outlook.
The other LPA was located 1,580 km east of Eastern Visayas, outside PAR.
Both LPAs are unlikely to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours, PAGASA said.
The LPA in the country’s vicinity is expected to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms across large parts of Luzon.
