For Karl D’Angelo Santa Rosa, success did not happen all at once. It came through years of learning, hard work, and personal change.
His career has been built one step at a time, from landscaping to plumbing, from apprenticeship to business ownership, and from difficult setbacks to a renewed sense of purpose.
Today, Karl owns Avante’ Plumbing in Sonoma County. He brings nearly three decades of plumbing experience to every project. More importantly, he brings a perspective shaped by resilience, humility, and a commitment to doing quality work, even when no one is watching.
“I’ve always wanted to do something important and meaningful,” Karl says. “Now I’m trying to make the best out of the time I have and be helpful to other people instead of just surviving.”

Karl spent his early childhood in San Francisco before moving to Santa Rosa at the age of 10. Growing up, he played ice hockey for nearly ten years. The sport taught him discipline and teamwork, lessons he still values today.
