A 61-year-old Canadian grandmother broke the female abdominal plank world record after holding the position for five hours.DonnaJean Wilde accomplished the feat at the Huntsman World Senior Games in Utah on Oct. 4, breaking her own record by nearly 30 minutes, Storyful reported.Wilde’s plank began at 3:03 p.m. and ended at 8:03 p.m., with several judges rotating in and out of shifts during that period, a spokesperson for the World Senior Games told Storyful.FITNESS INFLUENCER SAYS ONE SIMPLE HABIT CAN HELP ANYONE GET BACK IN SHAPEHer previous record of 4 hours, 30 minutes and 11 seconds was set on March 21, 2004, at the Canadian high school where she once served as vice principal, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.”To successfully achieve the record, the challenger’s forearms and toes must touch the ground at all times,” Guinness states.  The feat occurred at the Huntsman World Senior Games Oct. 4 in Utah, where DonnaJean Wilde broke her own record by nearly 30 minutes, according to Storyful.
