California is one step closer to allowing local Disney fans to turn their vehicles into rolling tributes to Mickey, Minnie and Co.
State Treasurer Fiona Ma announced Tuesday a new public-private partnership to create a Disneyland-themed specialized license plate that would raise funds for children’s hospitals across the state.
The plate is being developed in collaboration with Disneyland Resort, the California Children’s Hospital Association and the California Health Facilities Financing Authority. It still needs final DMV approval and must reach a minimum of 7,500 preorders before production can begin.
