Taiwanese tech company Synology Inc. announced that ActiveProtect Manager 2.0, the operating system for its dedicated backup appliances, will be rolled out in the third quarter of this year.
The tech company made the announcement during Synology’s COMPUTEX 2026 media event on Wednesday in Taiwan.
In a statement, it said that the release expands backup and recovery capabilities across major Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platforms and virtualization environments.
It also introduces artificial intelligence (AI)-powered threat detection to strengthen proactive cyber-resilience.
