These future foods could help the planet, if we can stop being weird about them
ShareShareShareShareShare

We visited London’s Science Museum for “The Future of Food,” a free exhibition that explores the sustainable practices of food production. From lab-grown meats vs factory farming to the future of bioengineering, the exhibition explores the role technology plays in food production and the impact that it has on our plates and our planet. We also looked at some innovations that could make the future of food more sustainable, including a UK company producing a palm oil alternative — but first, we’ll need to overcome preconceived notions on where our food comes from.

“The Future of Food” exhibition is on at London’s Science Museum until Jan. 4, 2026.
