Sort Your Life Out host Stacey Solomon previously revealed her struggles with her mental health and how she copes when life in the spotlight gets a bit “rubbish”.
The television personality was catapulted onto the national stage by her involvement in The X Factor’s sixth series. Since then, stints on I’m A Celebrity…, Loose Women and Sor Your Life Out have kept her firmly rooted in the national conversation.
However, she’s been open about her struggles with mental health and staying level-headed when things get too much…

Stacey Solomon Swash discusses mental health struggles and self-care
In 2019, Marie Clare published an interview with Stacey Solomon in which she opened up about what wellness means to her, her relationship with social media and body image.
When asked what she does when she’s feeling a bit “rubbish”, and what she does to “look after” herself, she responded that she tries to eat better – among other things.
“Generally if I’m feeling really low I’ll eat really badly. So I have to make a conscious effort to drink loads of water, try and eat well, feel good,” she said.
The other thing is that she speaks to people.
“I personally think the best thing for my own mental health is to have that conversation and say: ‘Oh my god, I feel terrible, help me!’ Learning that other people feel like that as well is really comforting. It gives you hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
