CASH REMITTANCES from overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) jumped by 2.6% in September amid steady demand for healthcare and maritime workers abroad.
Data released by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) on Wednesday showed cash remittances coursed through banks rose by 2.6% to $2.91 billion in September from $2.84 billion in the same month last year.
