New York-based virtual women’s health provider Maven Clinic is partnering with health-tracking ring maker Oura to allow Oura Ring wearers to sync their data with the Maven platform.
Maven Clinic is a digital reproductive health and family platform that offers fertility and family planning services, pregnancy and postpartum care, and parenting and pediatric support, as well as menopause-related care.
Through the partnership, Maven Clinic’s care teams will have access to wearers’ biometric data from the Oura Ring, including sleep, stress and activity data.
Eligible Maven members will also receive “exclusive pricing” when purchasing an Oura Ring.
“At Oura, we’re focused on integrating our continuous biometric insights into clinical conversations—ensuring that real-time data actively informs and enhances the care people receive,” Dorothy Kilroy, chief commercial officer at Oura, said in a statement.
“Our partnership with Maven Clinic brings that vision to life, helping providers deliver more timely, personalized support grounded in each individual’s unique health patterns. It’s the future of women’s health—evidence-based, deeply personalized, and clinically actionable.”
THE LARGER TREND
Earlier this month, Maven Clinic partnered with Manulife Canada, a financial services provider, to give Manulife Group Benefits plan members access to its digital programs.
Last year, the company announced a partnership with AT&T to offer its more than 125,000 employees 24/7 access to the women’s health platform.
Maven Clinic also secured $125 million in funding, which brought its valuation to $1.7 billion.
In 2023, Maven partnered with Amazon to provide the retail giant’s employees with access to Maven’s fertility and family-building support services.
In 2022, the women’s health company raised $90 million in a Series E funding round, following a $110 million Series D funding round raised a year prior.
In May, Oura announced it was expanding its partnership with glucose monitoring specialist Dexcom to provide users of its continuous glucose monitor Stelo and Oura ring wearers with metabolic health features, including meal insights and glucose data.
Last year, Dexcom made a $75 million strategic investment in Oura and established their strategic partnership.
Earlier this year, Oura also announced it was partnering with the Digital Medicine Society, Alcohol and Drug Services, Duke University, Google Fitbit, Morse Clinics, North Carolina Central University, ProofPilot, Triangle CERSI and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to use data collected from consumer wearables to lower opioid use disorder fatalities by creating interventions to help prevent relapse.
Oura appointed its first chief medical officer, Dr. Ricky Bloomfield, in March and in December closed a $200 million Series D funding round, which brought the company’s valuation to $5.2 billion.
