Islanders’ 2026 All-Star Game may be an entirely different event

The Islanders will host an event at UBS Arena in February 2026. 

Whether that event is an All-Star Game, well, that’s not quite so clear anymore. 

“We’re reevaluating how we want to do things because I think we’ve raised the bar about as high as you can for an All-Star Game in any sport,” NHL commissioner Gary Bettman told reporters Wednesday at the league’s annual GM meetings in Manalapan, Fla. “So we want to make sure whatever we do is up to the standards that we’ve created.”
