Though the Mets were able to secure their spot in the NLCS in four games, the Padres and Dodgers are going to a fifth and final game to decide the series — and it’s set to be a marquee matchup.
The Padres will start ace Yu Darvish on the mound and all eyes will be on him and Dodgers MVP Shohei Ohtani. In Game 2 of the series, Darvish bested Ohtani with a series of breaking and offspeed pitches and the designated hitter, who hit 54 home runs during the regular season, is just one for eight against Darvish in his career.
