Thomas Markle has spoken out about his daughter, Meghan Markle, returning to the UK with Prince Harry and their children. He claimed he learnt about the family’s plans through the news rather than from Meghan herself.
The remarks come as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the UK continues to attract attention. Thomas said the development had increased his fears that he may never meet his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Thomas Markle shares “hurt and upset” message to daughter Meghan
Speaking to The Mail on Sunday, Thomas claimed he remains in hospital and feels pushed out of Meghan’s life.
He said: “I’m hurt and upset that she doesn’t give a damn about me, even though I’m in hospital.”
Thomas also reflected on the close relationship he said they once shared. He described Meghan as a former “daddy’s girl” and claimed he now feels as though he no longer exists to her.
Despite their estrangement, Thomas insisted he still loves his daughter. However, he said he could not understand why she had turned her back on him.
