The 49ers are running out of options at wide receiver, especially after Deebo Samuel’s injury this past weekend.
But the 49ers aren’t confined to their current roster. They could make a trade to add a receiver, and one of the most compelling options is someone San Francisco is familiar with.
“I would say a name that I’ve been wondering about is Jauan Jennings. So he’s with the Minnesota Vikings, had like two catches. Obviously, came over from the 49ers. I expect his name to heat up a little bit over the next, probably, couple days and weeks,” NFL insider Ian Rapoport said during “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday.
