Fitted to a whisper, his evening gowns, sharp suits and plunge-neck jumpsuits outlined every contour. Paired with vertiginous heels, slender belts and sleek hair, the look was polished and powerful, just like his fans.
The designer, who has dressed everyone from Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, Keke Palmer and Rihanna to Rachel Brosnahan, took next season’s inspiration from James Bond – but in his world, a woman is the secret agent.
