Coronation Street star Sally Ann Matthews has reportedly finished filming her final scenes as Jenny exits the soap.
The news comes after reports claimed that the character of Jenny Connor had been ‘axed’ after more than 30 years.
After Jenny lost the Rovers and with Daisy having left cobbles, fans had expected the news but were upset nonetheless.

Jenny lied to George in Coronation Street
Tonight on the cobbles (Monday, September 29), Jenny participated in a speed dating event at the Rovers.
Glenda rigged the evening so that Jenny would be the first one to have a date with George instead of Christina.
However, Jenny never got to have her date after all as she received a phone call from Rita to say that she’d had a fall.
With Rita only suffering from a sprain, Jenny sobbed into George’s shoulder as she made out that Rita’s accident was really bad. How will he react when he finds out the truth?
